about übergraph
Übergraph is the name I created to represent my artwork. It is derived from the German word “über” and the English word “photograph”. Translated from German to English, über loosely means super, over and above. Obviously all artists of any medium strive to create excellent work. So in my mind, an übergraph is an excellent photograph or image, something I simply strive for.
My prints are typically based on my own photography, though in some cases they may be images I’ve created solely on the computer in digital format.
My prints may be photographs, photographs rendered to appear as paintings, photographs digitally converted to simulate the original image, abstracts created from a photograph, or completely digitally created images.
I currently prefer to print on canvas, but there are exceptions. All of my canvas artwork is printed by me, sealed, and hand stretched on home made fir wood frames. They are gallery wrapped, and can be displayed as is, or framed. Framing is a personal preference and not a requirement. From photograph to completed print, they were created by my hands and equipment alone.
Thank you for viewing my images!
